August 16 (Chen Jing Gong Xing Su Xiaochun) Reporter was informed on the 16th that since this year, Shanghai Waigaoqiao Port Haitong Pier has been in full load operation, almost every day there are a large number of new energy vehicles from here to "board" roll-on wheels to the world.
Statistics disclosed by the Waigaoqiao Border Inspection Station on the same day show that in the first half of this year, Haitong Terminal in Waigaoqiao Port area exported more than 480,000 vehicles, of which more than 160,000 new energy vehicles, accounting for more than one-third.
It is reported that more than 70 domestic new energy vehicles entered the Liberian "Golden Star" roller in an orderly manner and departed for Turkey late at night on the 15th to enter the Middle East market. The Waigaoqiao Border Inspection Station of the Shanghai Entry-Exit Border Inspection General Station has implemented convenient measures such as "zero waiting" for entry and exit ships on arrival and inspection for 24 hours and "zero delay" for departure inspection and release, continuously optimizing the business environment at the port, and providing strong support for new energy vehicles to seize opportunities and smoothly "go to sea".
In the past, clothing, household appliances and furniture were known as the "old three" of China's foreign trade exports. Today, the export performance of "new three" products such as new energy vehicles, lithium batteries, and solar cells is very bright. In particular, new energy vehicles have gone abroad and sold overseas, injecting new momentum into the upgrading of Shanghai's foreign trade.
Yang Yongxiang, director of the Border Inspection Department of Waigaoqiao Border Inspection Station, introduced that Waigaoqiao Border Inspection Station has continuously optimized the port business environment, actively promoted the implementation of 16 new measures by the National Immigration Administration to promote the development of service shipping enterprises, and used the "Internet +" service platform and the "single window" of international trade to realize the online declaration of ships for border inspection procedures. We will fully implement "zero waiting" for customs clearance and "zero delay" for departure from ports for ships sailing internationally, so as to avoid "pressure on ports". As of August 15 this year, Waigaoqiao Border inspection Station has provided convenient services for nearly 500 ro-ro wheels to escort new energy vehicles out of the country.
